OMICS and PULSUS group the Open Access Science publishing major and conference organizer ows to develop a science hub in Palakonda town in Srikakulam district of Andhra Pradesh. Speaking to the media on Sunday, here in a meeting held at the regional Satya Sai School, Dr. Srinu Babu Gedela Chairman of OMICS International Pvt Ltd., Hyderabad stated that his organization would spend Rs. 25 Lakh in establishing a Science Hub in the town to enhance the education infrastructure for the students. “We are also planning to setup a Skill Development Centre in collaboration with the Central Government in the town”, he added. The skill development programmes would assist the graduates in acquiring suitable skills to meet the industry requirements and to earn a living of their own in their interested fields to improve employment prospects. Dr, Srinubabu distributed a cash prize to the outstanding academic brilliance shown in the IP Examinations as scholarships worth of 4 Lakh rupees to twenty two top performers of Satya Sai School. Besides Dr. Srinu Babu, Vasu Naidu and school academic advisors B. Lakshmi Narayana and D. Venakata Ramana have also participated in the event
